So the questions are pouring in and I know most of the questions are the same. Therefore, I will address everyone at the same time.
When can I see my puppy? BECAUSE OF COVID..... AT PICK UP and has first shot. Then I will send you directions. You must also e-mail or call for conformation the night before. Please do not stop and ask to see any puppy: with out an appointment. Whole liters have died. I can not nor, will not show any puppy earlier. Since you have picked me for your breeder you need to trust me. If you look over the Internet…No reputable breeder will allow you to see a puppy before 6 weeks. They also must have their first shot. I will tell you more when that is as time gets closer.
When can I pick-up my puppy?? It is very hard at this point to give you an exact date…every puppy learns things at different times. Usually 8 weeks. If you have a have certain date that’s the only time you can pick-up your puppy make it around 8 weeks. I know many like to take a few days off from work and need to clear it with their bosses. That's fine but I must make sure that the puppy is able to leave my care. There are certain steps it needs to master before it goes to a new home. The other thing that helps is picking-up the puppy on a Friday or Saturday. You’ll have a few nights before going back to work. The puppy will whine usually for three or four night. When LEAVING ITS MOTHER. Puppies left past the 8 weeks will be charged 2.00 extra fee.

Potty Training
I want my puppy to go to the bathroom outside. If I let him go on
paper, how do get him to go outside?
Dogs learn quickly to potty outside the hard part is teaching them to constantly go on the paper. When they leave
here they have already begun there training. Most puppies only need a little reinforcement to keep up the
constancy. You need a certain spot even when the puppy gets bigger that if you’re on the phone, they have a safe place
to go. If you do not give him a safe place he will pick one: an alternative a place to potty, you do not see.
Can the puppy sleep with me? The puppy will need a few months or more; to be able to hold his bladder all night. He can sleep with you but will pee on you too. I recommend the first two months you have the puppy to let it sleep in the play- pen. When you see he is able to hold himself all night you can try your bed. Your puppy at first will try and play with you, as he is use to sleeping alone. But after a few nights he’ll realize when lights are out it is time to sleep. It is OK to play a little before you go to sleep this will help the puppy to wind down. In the morning put puppy immediately where you want him to go potty (Play Pen or Outside)
The other reason why you need to keep the puppy in the house until it is fully protected from diseases that could make him sick or even die.
The puppy needs all 3 shots in 3 months to have immunity build up in his body so these diseases can not hurt him.
Puppy comes with the first shot it is a five way puppy shot by Vangard at 6-7 weeks of age. They see the vet at this time and get a complete physical. (Ears, eyes, heart, teeth, testis and body) I will give you a medical report and folder when you pick-up your puppy.
Then 3-4 weeks later they need the second shot. If in my care The second shot is 35.00. My actual cost and will be added to puppy at pick-up
Then 3-4 weeks later third shot which will be the last one, totaling three shots in all. If in my care will be
35.00 also added at pick-up if in my care when needed.
***There has to be a total of three shots in three months time to be
full protected from airborne diseases. I recommend keeping the dog in the
house until he is FULLY protected.****
Once a year you get a booster…
Rabies is a must (check on age with your vet) You can go to state wide county clinic and get the shot for 10.00 . Call the health department and find out where they will be…one then; one a year later that will protect your puppy for three years. Save your receipt FOR RABIES in with your other papers.
Your dog will not have been out side until you pick it up. I paper-train every puppy before they leave. A
small box will be easy to clean and protect your puppy from the world of viruses. Yes, There are airborne viruses every where including your car.
This shot can Kill or damage the Kidneys & Liver
The same dosage is given to a Shih Tzu as a Great Dane. Never give Leptospirosis. This shot can kill your Shih Tzu. It is for contact with deer urine. . If you are not planning on hunting or camping in the woods with your dog…you will not need it.
Shih Tzus leaving our home where they have enjoyed the comfort, warmth of an enclosed home environment.
Are now entering the big world of microscopic germs and air born viruses, could catch a cold, easily. Shih Tzu already have a small nose. Sneezing, snorting and teething will increases how you see them breath. You will see bubbles, sniffing, snorting, some mouth breathing, moisture and/ or nasal spraying. This is common for Shih Tzus. However, to
much is not. Many times a vet when checking over a Shih Tzu just
automatically say, "URI" . Sometimes it may be, other times could be the stress
from moving.
+Stress causes anti-bodies to be weaken, making it easier for a virus to
enter and effect a puppy. Plus the puppy dose not have all it's shots; so it is very
easy for them not to have the strength to fight a virus just because it is so
young.
+ Antibiotics will help and your puppy will feel better in just a few
days. Finish all your medicine. Antibiotics will not hurt your puppy, but are not always need, unless you see your puppy has no energy and is defiantly
under the weather. Do not take chances, do what ever is need to keep the puppy well.
+ Keep your puppy warm a heating pad especially in winter, but also on summer evenings. A puppies average tempter is 102. A humans is 97, there is a big difference in you feeling warm and a puppies being warm. Many puppies receive shots within days of leaving or the day they go home. You need to remember they are getting a small amount of a virus, so the body can fight it and get stronger.
If you have a last payment bring a money order or cash.
Bring with you a travel crate or buy one here (at my cost, I do not try to make any money off my things to make the puppy more comfortable), but the puppy will not go home unless you bring something safe for it to be in. I do not believe in holding the puppy for a car ride.>>>>> Do not pick puppy up out of CARRIER, ESPECIALY when crying>>>>>>. Always wait for puppy to be quiet.
The puppy pack comes with everything you will need for your puppy and lots of really fun everything. You even get to pick it out.......
It needs to be a safe and warm in winter. In the summer it needs to be cool and protected from sun and other animals. You can always move the area, especially if you use a play pen. I defiantly recommend the play pen, I have great ones here. Your puppy can use it its whole life, to keep it safe and comfortable. They have a door which can be opened or closed to keep the puppy
Your puppy is now alone....There are no other 102 temp nest to them or a mom for warmth.
Friends will want to see your new puppy, but it is good to give him/
her a few days to get use to you. The puppy will begin to know your smell
and voice. If too many come will be confused and will change the new
bonding experience you want him/her to begin to grow. It is best for the
puppy to complete its shots, but you can use your best judgment.
Now that you are this puppy’s parent ...you are depended on to provide all his or
her needs. You determine what kind of dog this puppy will be when it is older.
Take great care in encouraging good behavior. Discourage bad behavior. It may
seem funny now, but how do you want your dog to act in a year
Worming will be done at 6 weeks of age and at 8 weeks; with Pyrantel,
before you pick up your new puppy. You will receive a Health Record with your puppy. My Vet will examine every puppy and will have a wellness record. If there is anything wrong with your puppy, I will tell you when I find out.
