Victoria

Much to my surprise on Valentine's Day and Mother's Day; I received a card not from my kids, but from my daughters beloved Victoria.  Finding that special home for an older dog is always hard, but Valerie did. She has given love to one of ours. She even has a companion, Blaze. Thank you for everything. Victoria is loved and that makes us very happy.

July's 2010 Feature Family           ~ Elroy ~

Our family would like to thank you for Elroy. He is a great puppy and we love home so much already. Elroy has learned to climb the stairs and is very proud of himself. He also found his bark. There is a big black lab on our block that tries to play with Elroy. However, he gets down low to the ground and with his bottom in the air barking and hopping all over. It is so funny. We have been walking him everywhere daily and he can finally make it around the whole our circle which is 1/2 mile  . All the kids in the neighborhood come out and pet him. he loves that! Billy and Elroy have start Obedience class. Elroy was a perfect pick for our family. There will always be a hole in my heart for our first dog , Henry, but Elroy has filled the rest with love. Thank you from the bottom of our heats , "The Crist's"

DUFFY

IT HAS BEEN ALMOST A YEAR SINCE WE CAME TO YOUR HOME TO PICK UP OUR WONDERFUL LITTLE "DUFFY" (PREVIOUSLY CALLED EVOLVE). WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW MUCH JOY HE HAS BROUGHT TO OUR HOME.  HE IS THE SWEETEST, CALMEST, AND MOST LOVING COMPANION.  HE FOLLOWS US EVERYWHERE, LOVES EVERYONE, NEVER BARKS, AND IS SO SMART. WE JUST LOVE HIM AND CAN'T IMAGINE OUR HOME WITHOUT HIM.

WE WEREN'T EVEN THINKING ABOUT GETTING A DOG UNTIL MARY'S DAUGHTER GOT A PUPPY, "OSCAR", (PREVIOUSLY CALLED FALCON).  THAT WAS THE BEGINNING!!!!  WE GOT DUFFY, THEN OUR FRIENDS GOT A PUPPY, "SPIKE," (PREVIOUSLY CALLED CAYUGA) AND JUST RECENTLY WE REFERRED ANOTHER FRIEND TO YOU AND SHE GOT, "SUSY," (PREVIOUSLY CALLED PECAN).  WE "DOG SIT" FREQUENTLY FOR BOTH SPIKE AND OSCAR.  IT IS SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH OUR DUFFY "TUSSLE" AND  PLAY WITH HIS FRIENDS. THEY ALL GET ALONG WONDERFULLY.

WHEN DAVE EATS, DUFFY JUMPS ONTO HIS CHAIR LOOKING FOR ANY STRAY CRUMBS. THOSE EYES MELTS DAVE'S CONSTITUTION AND DAVE HAS BEEN KNOWN TO "LET DROP" A  TINY PIECE OF CHICKEN OR WHATEVER. THOSE EYES ARE MAGNETIC!!!!

HE HAS BEHAVIOR "MODES:" 1. PLAY, 2. CUDDLE, 3. SLEEP. WHEN HE IS IN THE PLAY MODE, HE WON'T CUDDLE AND VISA VERSA. WE SPOIL HIM OBVIOUSLY! WE CATER TO EVERY "MODE" AND EVERY NEED. MARY'S CHILDREN ARE GROWN AND OUT OF THE HOUSE, SO DUFFY HAS AN EXPERIENCED MOMMY, AND A DADDY THAT TRIES VERY, VERY HARD!          David & Mary Machell

March's 2010 Feature Family
UPDATE.......Good Morning Laura well I was happy to see that "Sunshine" has been adopted. She is so sweet. I'm sure she will give lots of love and many happy moments to her new family.
I was also quite SURPRISED & HONORED to be Featured Family for March 2010 . Thank You!!
In April Jingles will be turning double digits he will be "10 YEARS OLD" I don't know where the time went. Well I guess it's true what they say the time goes by when you are having fun! Which is certainly true with having Jingles in our family.
Our new addition Ollie will be 1 year old in May and that time has passed just as quickly. He is so cute and has a cute little personality. Jingles has accepted him with open paws into our family. At first things were a little difficult after all Jingles was the only pup for 9 years and by all means the "KING". Well now he still is the King but we also have our little Prince Ollie. They have their moments but over all they love each other and are always snuggling up. I am attaching a couple of pictures I'm not sure if I have sent them to you before but they are a couple of my favorites and would like to share them with you. Hope all is well with and your family. Keep in touch...........Brenda

Jingles gets a brother - Ollie

I went and had my first hair cut on Friday. The groomer told my Mom I was a good boy. I think she was surprised. You know how spunky us pups can be. I got the puppy cut I am very fluffy and cute if I do say so myself. I am trying to be a good boy but it's hard. I am doing pretty good with my potty training hopefully soon I will be not using the paper anymore. My Mom says the nipping/teething is driving her nuts she hopes that will be over soon and so does my brother Jingy. LOL . Hugs & Kisses to all your pups.. XOXOXOXOX  Ollie

            ~ Jingles ~ 2005

Jingy joined our family in July 2000. He was 3 months at the time. He is such a wonderful pup.  Jingy  is such a smart and loving little guy.  He has made our family complete.
He goes everywhere with us  and does everything we
do. He is a member of our family not a pet. We love him so and feel like he has been with us forever.  We
are also very proud to say that Jingles was in the
2004 DOG FANCY CALENDAR. How excited we were. Laura,  Congrats to you and your Mom for breeding such super  Shih Tzu's.  Keep up the good work.   Brenda & Jingles

Handsome boy and the biggest ham I've ever seen.

Well today is my birthday and I am 6 years old. Where did the time go? My family had a cake for me today, but unfortunately I am on a special food diet and could not have any. Oh well it's the thought that counts! Tomorrow (Sunday) I am getting together with my sister Martha for a little celebration. Not a HUGE party like last year. A few close friends and family.     JINGY  (2006)

~ Martha Rose ~ Family Reunion (2005) Litter of Five -three together

Jingles and Martha are from the same litter. These two people just met each other and started talking about their dogs. Wow, soon they realized they where from the same liter. Now, the two share  Birthdays together  5 years old. Original Anne's puppy from Rainy (more pictures in photo albums)  The families have even met up with  another sibling.

It was a fun reunion this summer (2005). I was left with a warm feeling when I saw tears in your eyes –You said my babies. It showed the care you had given to the pups and what they meant to you. Martha came into my life when I was at a low point. My priest suggested a dog- he been a dog lover. Martha Rose was the pup for me when I picked her up she left her mark on my shirt. You could say she picked me. We walk at a local collage- students pet her and the ones away from home tell me about their animals. This is where I met Jingles (Martha Roses’ brother) and his family. This has turned into a wonderful friendship.       Martha Rose waits for me on good days when I go to Mass. The folks all look for her- she brings a smile to their faces. She loves people and company to visit us.  My sister Mae is in a nursing home, when we go to visit the residents seem to perk up and smile. Mae calls her, Miss Personality. She is not a dog but a real person. Needless to say Laura, I could go on and on about the joy that Martha Rose has brought to my life.

Thank-you for doing such a good job- at not an easy task. Barbra R       (Sister to Jingles)

Cody

1-21-10..We are the Gonzaley Family from Poughkeepsie. We adopted  Cody (aka Gusty) from you in 5-09. I just wanted to drop you a note and a few pictures to show you how well Cody is doing in our home. He has a brother Macabee; lots of toys and love. He just had his first Christmas and received even more toys and love from his new family. He is a very sweet dog with no behavioral problems absent the usual "puppy learning curve". He has no health problems, but he recently scratched his cornea. Which I understand is very common in short nose breeds. Vets fixed him up and he had been a great addition to our home.  Warm regards, Lotteanne and Manuee

Jin Ju & Starlight

I hope all is well with you and yours.  We are well and Jin Ju is awesome!  He had his yearly check up this morning including all his booster shots and heart worm blood test.  I often get compliments about his color, markings and conformation.  His groomer and vet think that he is exceptional.  Anyway I asked the vet about his conformation and he says that Jin Ju is such a well proportioned male because he is not neutered.  He said that neutering these dogs to young as most people do, does not allow them to developed properly.  Did you notice how well developed and straight Jin Ju's legs are and how his body is not to long?  Thank you for being a responsible breeder and recommending to not neuter Jin Ju, excellent advise and I'm so glad that I listened to your advise because it has resulted in having an excellent developed dog.
Please let us know.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the best little boy dog ever!!!!  He brings us and everyone he meets so much joy.
God Bless as we enter another school year.  Talk to you soon.  Christine
